These are a few of my favorite things:

It's Thanksgiving Day, but I won't bore you with an essay of the same things everybody is thankful for today. I have amazing friends and an amazing family and an amazing boyfriend. I have a roof over my head and plenty to eat, I go to a great school, I have a great internship, and I always have something to wear (even when I despair that "I have nothing to wear!").

Of course I'm thankful for those things. But there are a lot of smaller, less cliché things that I am also thankful for, and I think they deserve some recognition. This Thanksgiving, I give thanks for...

Light bulbs.

Forks.
Text messaging.
Candles.
Single stream recycling.
Plungers.
Soy milk (picture from Urban Blah).

Bass guitar.
Flannel.
Scott Westerfeld.
Swiss Miss hot chocolate.
Dirty feet.

Neon Trees.
Tuning forks.
Trippy dreams.
Vodka sauce.
Stickers.

Jalapeños.
Hot showers.
String.
Blue jeans.
Semicolons.
Ear goggles.

What random things are you thankful for today? If anyone says "friends and family," I'm spamming your comments section with pictures of slow lorises!

This post is brought to you by my favorite fingerless gloves.

Peace, love and free-range turkey,
Miss Rex

What about spoons and army men? :o

I suppose I should have included multiple varieties of spooning on this list. Army men would fall under the spooning heading. The pranking variety, that is; I have never spooned a live army man.

Hahaha xP And provided I can gather enough money for a quick trip up there before I go to basic, we should definitely do something about all those army men you have laying around.
Oh! What ever happened to the army man rescue mission in front of the chapel?

They took down all the ones nailed to the trunks except for one in the crook of a tree across the sidewalk (one I made you nail up because I couldn't reach). The parachute guy still has not been rescued.

Dang. Poor parachute guy, still hangin'. At least there's one other guy left - someone's gotta enforce the "no man left behind" rule.
